Fosters Farm

A magnificent opportunity to build a new barn on the foundations of a sixteenth century barn which was lost in the war. The total project consists of a 3 bay threshing barn built in a late sixteenth century style, and an eighteenth century stable extension.
A garden room in Burgess Hill, Sussex.

Built for a customer who had previously been on one of the timber framing courses at the open air museum. He and his wife designed and then finished the building themselves using a mix of traditional materials together with high performance insulation and underfloor heating.
